At Moschos Tavern you can experience the fine Greek hospitality from the Panou family. The tavern was founded by Christos & Theodora Panou in 1936 and was the first taverna on the island. Today the 3rd and 4th generation of the Panou family are operating this traditional Greek taverna.
The dishes are made of the finest local products. From the olive oil that is used in salads, to the fish and meat that will come to your plate, the staff will always try to achieve the best quality!
Fresh fish from local fishermen, chicken meat from free-range chickens & local eggs. The meat of the calf that is served is certified by the Agrocere Organization and will definitely bring you an unique taste experience! The vegetables served are always fresh, many of them come from the family’s own organic produce. The olive oil that is used, comes from Sparta and is virgin and excellent! Do not forget to try home made Tsipouro, made of grapes from the village of Limenaria.
