Agistri island

Agistri is located at the heart of the Saronic Gulf. It can be easily reached from Piraeus by Flying Dolphin hydrofoil within 55 minutes and by the ferry boat in around 1.5 hours.

The island is well known for its safe and clean beaches and is ideal for swimming, snorkelling and diving. The whole island is naturally pine forested, so it's a must for walkers and trekkers. As the island is small it is easy to discover it by motor bike or bicycle or take the bus. From the bus stop in front of the hotel, the bus is leaving several times per day to Milos, Dragonera beach, Limenaria (Mariza beach) and Aponissos. Visit the spectacular Chalkiada pebbled beach that can be reached by foot within a 15 minute walk from the Saronis hotel through the forested area of Skliri with its lovely views.

Skala

Skala, the main tourist centre offers a wide variety of bars, tavernas and restaurants to suit all tastes. The traditional villages of Milos (Megalochori) and Limenaria are also well worth exploring during your stay. Agistri is also ideally placed for island hopping. There is a regular boat connection with neighbouring island Aegina. The island of Poros can be reached through the ferry that is leaving from Aegina.

You can also take a day trip to Athens to see the Acropolis and be back on the island in the afternoon for a refreshing swim to be ready on time to see the sun setting over the Peloponnese from the Skala beach. From this beach you can also experience the most wonderful sunrises.
